Full Description

Horseshoe, stirrup and cheekpiece from a bridle bit, found in rubbish pit at Rumburghplace Farm, Wissett. The pit in garden of farm was probably clay, subsequently filled with pottery, including wasters, kiln debris, salt-glazed stoneware, glass and ironwork. Pottery made on site consists of large jugs and dishes, frilly based mugs resembling those made at Hinderclay.
Harness is Loan 18, loaned by I Armour-Chelu of Rumburghplace Farm (S1).
