Full Description

Beaker sherd, flint tools included polished flake (from polished axe ?) and animal bone recovered from spoil removed from new channel for boating marina in Swales Fen. Also evidence of burnt flint patch in same vicinity (S1). Close to excavated burnt flint patch, MNL 204, large burnt flint patch, MNL 209 and findspot of polished flint axe blade, MNL 205.
