Full Description

From Mildenhall (area). Copper or bronze flat axe with thin butt, relatively straight, blade edge widely splayed from narrow butt. Concave sided. Brown patina with green `crust' (oxidization). Weight 523 gms. Thickness 2.8 cms, width 9.2 cms, length 16 cms. Formerly Prigg then Sir John Evans collection (S1)(S2)(S3).
