Full Description

The Clouston Collection, a total of 69 bronzes listed as from various locations, mainly in NW Suffolk and SW Norfolk, which have now been shown to be bogus. Actually stolen from Devizes & Winchester Museums, and other pieces formerly from Zimmerman Collection found in NW Germany (S1)(S2). Finds in Clouston Collection listed as from Mildenhall parish with bogus locations, include:- bronze sickle reputedly Kenny Hill (IPSMG 1934-76.8), formerly listed as LKH Misc BA 13; large fibula reputedly Kenny Hill (IPSMG 1934-76.30), formerly listed as LKH Misc BA 14.
