Full Description
Tile kiln, ?C18. Double-arched chamber made of tiles, found on shore of R Orwell, E of Freston Tower, disclosed by heavy floods in 1953 (S1). For further late Med/PMed kiln and kilnyard to NW (or confusion with same?), see WLV 018/037.
