Full Description

Palgrave. Large stone `? wedge', notched axe or maul? circa 24.6 cms long. Squared, relatively parallel sides with slightly narrower cutting edge. Opposite end convex hammer, shaped with relatively crude groove immediately below. Petrologically sectioned - number S84, group `? XVIII' (Whin Sill). Personal possession (S1).
