Full Description
Part of the description of Neo/BA finds on IPSMG card 1949-177 refer to mound area but the animal bone and horn seem to have come from site between Sutton Haugh and Apricot Plantation, TM 2836 4882 C. They were found in July 1949 by Basil Brown when work was being done by the Electricity Board in the area, erecting posts or pylons. He also mentions 2 coombes leading to the river, filled with black peaty soil and suggests that either could have been used to drag the burial ship up to the site (S4).
Previous mislocated under SUT 038.
