Full Description
1946: Roman building debris and pottery found during construction of new house on South side of Highfield Road near junction with Everton Crescent in August 1946. Basil Brown found roof and floor tiles, and pottery in the spoil heaps of the workmen. One sherd of pottery had been repaired with 2 small strips of lead. No wall plaster found.
