Full Description

Iron sword in bronze scabbard. Found 1913 - `bronze sword-sheath (still containing the rusted remains of the sword) from Lakenheath' (S1). Purchased 1915, 30 ins x 1.7 ins (S2).
Assigned by Piggott to his `group II Hunsbury type', of La Tene II derivation, C2 BC - AD C1 (R2).
