Full Description
Bronze ring-headed pin. Shaft of circular cross-section decorated by 5 groups of moulded bands, from tip in 4, 5, 4, 4 & 4 band clusters. They do not extend to the rear side of pin shaft. Flat circular head, 0.95 cm diameter, with off centre perforation of 0.4 cm diameter. The head is decorated on outer edge by grooves/notches again on face side only. Length 8.5 cms, shaft diameter 0.3 cms. Found with a metal detector by (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s)(S1).
