Summary

Approximately half of a butt beaker with the remains of a cream slip, decorated with rouletting, recovered from the weathered side of a road cutting (Pattern Bush Close) in new housing estate.

Full Description

Approximately half of a butt beaker with the remains of a cream slip, decorated with rouletting, recovered from the weathered side of a road cutting (Pattern Bush Close) in new housing estate. A few other sherds, Rom (?) and Belgic recovered from the same area. No certain evidence for a pit or other feature. Found by Nixon D J, 1983 (S1).
