Summary

A circular cropmark, measuring 50m in diameter and of unknown date, was identified on aerial photographs. A second possible ring ditch was identified further to the south. Full Description

Circular cropmark, 50m in diameter, + another possible ring ditch to the south. Several others in the area (S1).

November 2013. Lothingland, Lowestoft and North Suffolk Coast and Heaths National Mapping Programme.
The circular cropmarks described above were not identified on the consulted aerial photographs, which included the aerial photographs (S2), which are presumed to be the same as (M1) and (S1) referred to above. It seems likely that the marks described were photo blemishes, as for SHER SOL 020 and SOL 021 to the north, or recent agricultural marks, or other marks of similarly non-archaeological origin.
S. Tremlett (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 13th November 2013.
