Summary

A penannular ring ditch is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs. Although undated, it is most likely to represent the site of a Bronze Age round barrow, and to form, with other ring ditches to its east and west, a linear barrow cemetery SHER SOL 045.

Full Description

Single ring ditch, circa 15m in diameter, within part of field system, SOL 011 (S1). Between ring ditches SOL 012 (to W) and SOL, 3, 4 & 5 to E and NW of Blundeston 13 & 14.

The ring ditch described above is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs (S2)-(S3), centred at TM 4995 9680. Although undated, it is most likely to represent the site of a Bronze Age round barrow, and to form, with other ring ditches to its west and east, a linear barrow cemetery SHER SOL 045.
