Summary

The cropmarks of a ring ditch, probably representing the remains of a Bronze Age round barrow, are visible on aerial photographs. This probable barrow and the nearby BLN 013 are likely to form an outlier group to the cemetery to the north (SOL 045).

Full Description

Ring ditch circa 25m diameter. Adjacent to causewayed ring ditch BLN 013. Falls within field system BLN 003 (S1). S of ring ditches, Somerleyton 3, 4, 5, 12 & 13 (S2).

The cropmarks of a ring ditch, probably representing the remains of a Bronze Age round barrow, are visible on aerial photographs (S1, S3). The ring ditch is centred on TM 5005 9660 and is 22m in diameter. This probable barrow and the nearby BLN 013 are likely to form an outlier group to the cemetery to the north (SOL 045).
