Summary

A site of two World War Two pillboxes and associated barbed wire obstructions is visible on aerial photographs at the site of the Lound Water Works. Other World War Two structures and defences may have existed at this site, but it may have been hard to distinguish them from those associated with the waterworks.

A site of two World War Two pillboxes and associated barbed wire obstructions is visible on aerial photographs (S1) at the site of the Lound Water Works. The site is centred on TG 5008 0066. Other World War Two structures and defences may have existed at this site, but it may have been hard to distinguish them from those associated with the waterworks.
