Full Description
October 2013. Lothingland, Lowestoft and North Suffolk Coast and Heaths National Mapping Programme.
The cropmarks of a possible Bronze Age round barrow may be visible on aerial photographs, (S1-S2). The site is centred on TM 5201 9816 and is 13m in diameter. The possible barrow is visible as a lighter coloured cropmark, however the archaeological interpretation is uncertain and it may relate to a former pit or quarry. However see BLN 009 and BLN 017 for other nearby ring ditches.
S. Horlock (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 25th October 2013.
