Summary

The cropmarks of a possible Bronze Age round barrow may be visible on aerial photographs. The possible barrow is visible as a lighter coloured cropmark, however the archaeological interpretation is uncertain and it may relate to a former pit or quarry. However see BLN 009 and BLN 017 for other nearby ring ditches.

October 2013. Lothingland, Lowestoft and North Suffolk Coast and Heaths National Mapping Programme.
The cropmarks of a possible Bronze Age round barrow may be visible on aerial photographs, (S1-S2). The site is centred on TM 5201 9816 and is 13m in diameter. The possible barrow is visible as a lighter coloured cropmark, however the archaeological interpretation is uncertain and it may relate to a former pit or quarry. However see BLN 009 and BLN 017 for other nearby ring ditches.
