Summary

The cropmark of a ring ditch, potentially representing the remains of a Bronze Age round barrow, are visible on aerial photographs adjacent to an area of co-axial fields and trackways (LUD 017). See LUD 012 and LUD 040 for other nearby ring ditches.

October 2013. Lothingland, Lowestoft and North Suffolk Coast and Heaths National Mapping Programme.
The cropmark of a ring ditch, potentially representing the remains of a Bronze Age round barrow, are visible on aerial photographs (S1-S3) adjacent to an area of co-axial fields and trackways (LUD 017). The ring ditch is centred on TM 5148 9875 and is slightly oval, measuring 21m by 18m in diameter. See LUD 012 and LUD 040 for other nearby ring ditches.
