Full Description

Single ring ditch, circa 20m diameter, noted on SAU AP, 1977 (S1).

October 2013. Lothingland, Lowestoft and North Suffolk Coast and Heaths National Mapping Programme.
The cropmark of a ring ditch, potentially representing the remains of a Bronze Age round barrow, are visible on aerial photographs (S1-S2) and is located within an area of co-axial fields and trackways (LUD 017). The ring ditch is centred on TM 5179 9887 and is slightly oval, measuring 18.5m by 16m in diameter. See LUD 039-040 for other nearby ring ditches.
