Summary

The cropmark of a ring ditch, potentially representing the remains of a Bronze Age round barrow, are visible on aerial photographs and is located within an area of enclosures and fields, previously recorded under this number but now grouped with SOL 010. Full Description

Rectilinear field system, trackway, possible ring ditch observed on NAU AP, 1975

October 2013. Lothingland, Lowestoft and North Suffolk Coast and Heaths National Mapping Programme.
The cropmark of a ring ditch, potentially representing the remains of a Bronze Age round barrow, are visible on aerial photographs (S1-S2) and is located within an area of enclosures and fields, previously recorded under this number but now grouped with SOL 010. The ring ditch is centred on TM 5071 9889 and is 18m by 16m. See LUD 015 and LUD 040 for other nearby ring ditches.
