Summary

The former site of military camp is visible on aerial photographs. This would have provided accommodation for the Heavy Anti-Aircraft Battery (LWT 256) to the north. The site consists of military buildings and nissen type huts (the extent of which are defined by a polygon) and two earthen-covered air raid shelters.

Full Description

March 2014. Lothingland, Lowestoft and North Suffolk Coast and Heaths National Mapping Programme.
The former site of military camp is visible on aerial photographs (S1-S2). This would have provided accommodation for the Heavy Anti-Aircraft Battery (LWT 256) to the north. The site consists of military buildings and nissen type huts (the extent of which are defined by a polygon) and two earthen-covered air raid shelters.
