Full Description

Ring ditch (?), circa 25m in diameter, adjacent to FOS 009 (S1). Other, very faint example/s possible.
Within field system FOS 027.

May 2014. Lothingland, Lowestoft and North Suffolk Coast and Heaths National Mapping Programme.
A possible ring ditch, circa 25m in diameter as described above is visible on aerial photographs (S2) within a possible field system (SHER FOS 027), and adjacent to a second, slightly smaller ring ditch (SHER FOS 009) and a third possible ring ditch to the north (SHER FOS 032). As stated above, it is possible that the field contains other, very faint possible ring ditches, although all the features are visible against a background of geological marks and it is difficult to discern the archaeological features.
E. Ford (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 1st May 2014.
