Full Description

May 2014. Lothingland, Lowestoft and North Suffolk Coast and Heaths National Mapping Programme.
Cropmarks of possible enclosures and field boundaries are visible on aerial photographs (S1-S2) to the west of Frostenden Common (SHER FOS 019). It is possible that these features may relate to medieval to post medieval common-edge settlement. Some of the features are faint and rather ephemeral and are visible against a background of geological marks.
