Full Description
June 2014. Lothingland, Lowestoft and North Suffolk Coast and Heaths National Mapping Programme.
The vegetation marks and slight earthworks of probable medieval to post medieval drainage dykes and marshland causeways are visible on aerial photographs at this location (S1-S4). These were not included within the mapping as this type of feature is not included within the current scope of this project. The curvilinear nature of the features would suggest that they are an early element in the drainage history of this landscape and are likely to relate to previously mapped CAC 040-1.
S. Horlock (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 06th June 2014.
