Full Description

July 2014. Lothingland, Lowestoft and North Suffolk Coast and Heaths National Mapping Programme.
A possible World War Two road block is visible on aerial photographs (S1), on Latymer Bridge over the Hundred River, Henstead with Hulver Street.
It is difficult to be certain of this site, since it is only visible faintly on one set of photographs, but it is likely that a structure such as this would have defended the crossing of Hundred River, to the south of which two possible pillboxes were sited (SHER HSS 020).
E. Ford (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 17th July 2014.
