Full Description

May 2014. Lothingland, Lowestoft and North Suffolk Coast and Heaths National Mapping Programme.
The site of a former World War Two type 22 pillbox and other defensive structures and temporary training activity are on aerial photographs (S1-S2). The rectangular roofless structure is of uncertain function and may have been damaged earlier in the war. These structures formed part of the wider system of defences recorded under LWT 045.
