Please read our .

Summary

The slight earthworks and possibly low structural remains and/ or exposed foundations of probable post medieval date may be visible on aerial photographs. The Ordnance Survey First Edition map indicates possible structures in this vicinity and it was therefore decided that these features probably related to ephemeral post medieval structures, perhaps relating to industrial or horticultural activity and were therefore not mapped.

Full Description

June 2014. Lothingland, Lowestoft and North Suffolk Coast and Heaths National Mapping Programme.
The slight earthworks and possibly low structural remains and/ or exposed foundations of probable post medieval date, along with some other more ephemeral features (that could feasibly relate to recent activity), may be visible on aerial photographs (S1). The Ordnance Survey First Edition map (S2) indicates possible structures in this vicinity and it was therefore decided that these features probably related to ephemeral post medieval structures, perhaps relating to industrial or horticultural activity and were therefore not mapped. The main concentration of remains has been marked by an ‘extent of area’ for future reference or development at the site.
S. Horlock (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 06th June 2014.
