Cropmark of ring ditch, circa 20m in diameter, adjoining parallel ditches on SW side (S1). Circa 50m S of ?concentric ring ditch, CRM 013.
1992: 2m wide trial trench excavated across ring ditch. Shown to be 25.5m in diameter. Finds consisted of 232 worked flints, 29% of which were blades and 34% patinated blue or white, suggesting subtantial Mesolithic component in assemblage, which was confirmed by the presence of 4 microliths (see Mes entry). The Mes flints as presumed residual. The other flints presumed to be EBA (S2).
