Full Description
Smallish subrectangular enclosure showing as a cropmark just N of Grove Farm. Approximately 70 x 60m. Edges are indistinct (S1 S2).
Cropmarks of partial rectilinear enclosure, of unknown date, with up to 4m wide ditches, the enclosure is only visible on the north-west side on the available photography, and there are no visible internal features or identifiable entrances. The enclosure is surrounded on the south and west side by a cropmark of a former field boundary which is marked on the 1st edition OS mapping. Helen Saunders (Essex County Council) December 2013.
