Full Description

Ring ditch, single circle, circa 24m diameter. Close to electricity pylons (S1).

Cropmarks of a ploughed out Bronze Age concentric round barrow, 33m in diameter. The outer ring is oval in shape, with a wider ditch on the southern side (up to 4m in width). The internal ring is circular and 15m in diameter with an off-centre pit. This inner ring-ditch is not visible on all the aerial photographs. Helen Saunders (Essex County Council), March 2014.
