Full Description
Cropmark of small rectangular enclosure, circa 50m by 30m (S1), surrounding small ring ditch, BRF 043, and with linked(?) trackway to a field system to NW, BRF 045.
Shallow earthworks forming a possible rectangular enclosure of unknown date, 37m by 20m. The shallow ditches that form the enclosure are visible on three sides, with the northern end of the enclosure formed by a long wider ditch that maybe part of a larger drainage or water management system. The ring ditch (BRF 043) has not been mapped as it is thought this is not an actual archaeological feature, but vegetation. Helen Saunders (Essex County Council), March 2014 (S1-S2)
