Full Description
Near a railway line, bewteen Ipswich and Westerfield. Type 22 pillbox. (S3)
A WWII pillbox along the railway line. The pillbox is clearly visible on 1946 RAF photography, but only a concrete base is visible on the 2007 photography. The pillbox was approximately 240m west of a further pillbox location. Helen Saunders (Essex County Council), April 2014. (S1-S2)
