Full Description

Four rows of slit trenches (six in each row) of World War II date, visible in 1945 as c.2mx1m pits at TM 39865536. The pits postdate the aircraft obstructions closeby as one pit is on the site of one of the mounds.The features are no longer visible in 1972 when the field is arable. (S1-2) The area was used intensively for armoured vehicle training during the war.
Initially numbered as IKN 015 during pilot survey of intertial area. Re-numbered Nov 2004
