Full Description

An area of indistinct disturbances of the intertidal mud are visible off Iken Cliff, at TM 402561. The features may represent the eroded remains of possible oyster pits, of unknown date (similar to extensive examples elsewhere on the Alde Estuary). The features are not apparent in 1972 and the 1945 photography is not very good quality. (S1-3)
