Full Description
Two (?) Large pits, of unknown date, which are possibly oyster pits (although they are considerably larger than the majority of oyster pits in the Alde estuary, measuring c.10m x c.30m). The features are located in shoreline saltmarsh east of Iken Cliff (TM 403560) but are slowly being eroded. (S1-2)
Initially numbered as IKN 020 during pilot survey of intertial area. Re-numbered Nov 2004
