Full Description
Numerous 'borrow' pits dug to provide material for the sea bank, although of unknown date, are visible on the inside of the sea bank northeast of Iken Church (TM 41595678) to east of High Street (TM 44415552). (S1-2) Some of the pits have subsequently been damaged by a later collecting ditch. (S3)
Initially numbered as IKN 022 during pilot survey of intertial area. Re-numbered Nov 2004
