Full Description

Two quarry pits, one of which (marked 'Crag Pit') is recorded on the 1st edition 25" map (S1), and both of which are visible as earthworks north of Stanny Farm, at TM 438562 and TM 438563 (the northern quarry is being ploughed over) (S2). The quarries are probably of Post Medieval date.
