Full Description
Former brick and pottery works, located at TM 43435517,(besides Potkiln Lane, south of High Street), is recorded on the 1st edition 25" map (S1), although 'Brick Field' is recorded on the 1st Series 1" map (published 1837) (S2). By 1945, only the quarry pit the works were located in is visible (S3). The 25" map records two kilns within the site.
