Three quarries, of unknown date, visible as earthworks east of Cowton, at TM 44315484, TM 44425489 and TM 44655504 (S1). The features are being ploughed by 1972 (S2).
Formerly given duplicate HER number (SUE 029) in error - re-numbered as SUE 107 (Dec 2006).
