Full Description
A world War II emplacement is visible as an earthwork on Snape Warren, northwest of New England Farm (at TM 40255830) (S1). The feature , which is not apparent in 1943 (S2) comprises a central pit with an apparent surrounding ditch (with entry from the south), the exact function is not apparent but the area was used for armoured vehicle training during the war.
