Full Description

A World War II strongpoint, visible in 1941 (although there are at least three slit trenches in the area in 1940 (S1)) as a trench system within a barbed wire circuit at TM 523811, where the track from Covehithe reaches Green Heath (S2). The development of the position probably reflects the fact that this track crosses the anti tank ditch dug in 1941, the position blocking access to this crossing. The site is being threatened by coastal erosion.
