Full Description
A World War II anti tank ditch is visible as an earthwork in 1941 (it is being excavated in June 1941), extending from Covehithe Broad to Long Covert (on the south edge of Benacre Broad). An apparent weapons pit is visible covering a crossing at TM 52818231 (S1-2). The ditch was levelled by 1952 (S3) and most has since been eroded away.
