Full Description

A World War II strongpoint is visible in 1941 at TM 534832, northeast of Benacre Broad. The site comprises two possible pillboxes and a trench system within a barbed wire circuit (with access to the southwest, south and southeast) (S1). The trench system is expanded slightly by 1943 (S2). The site has since been eroded away.
Initially numbered as BNC 029 during pilot survey of intertial area. Re-numbered Nov 2004
