Full Description
A World War II strongpoint is visible in 1940 just south of Kessingland, at TM 53638500. The site comprises an apparent pillbox within a barbed wire circuit, with a slit trench in the northwest corner (S1). By 1941, the pillbox has gone but it is not clear if the site is still defended or not (although the barbed wire is still in place) (S2-3)
Initially numbered as KSS 034 during pilot survey of intertial area. Re-numbered Nov 2004
