Full Description
A length of World War II beach defence scaffolding running for over 1km to the east of Lowestoft Denes and Gunton Denes, can be seen on aerial photographs from 1940 (S1), 1941 (S2,S3) and 1945 (S4). This would have formed part of the coastal defences in this area during World War II. The scaffolding may extend further north, another 350m or so.
