Full Description

A World War II strongpoint is visible in 1941 at Shingle Street. It consists of a barbed wire obstruction encircling buildings of an earlier date. The function of the strongpoint is unclear. (S1) (S2) The barbed wire remains in place until at least 1948. (S3)
