Full Description

A World War II minefield is visible on aerial photographs running across the beach, blocking access via the coast to the gun battery (BAW 050) further south. There may be barbed wire obstructions at each side of the minefield in 1945, but this has not been plotted as it is not clear on the photograph. (S1) (S2)
