Full Description

A large circular structure, c 7m in diameter, can be seen at the junction of Thurston Road and Factory Street in Lowestoft on 1944 aerial photographs (S1). It appears to be a World War II pillbox, although it is slightly larger than typical round pillboxes of that date.
