Full Description
Three features, most likely covered trench air raid shelters of World War II date, can be seen close to Lowestoft Station to the south of Denmark Road on 1944 aerial photographs (S1). The entrances to the shelters are visible in the raised mounds which cover the shelters. They are located partially in ground used as allotments, and partially on waste ground near a warehouse - possibly as a means of camouflage.
