Full Description

The wreck of a ship just off Pakefield Cliffs, can be seen on 1945 aerial photographs (S1,S2). It does not appear on earlier photographs, and seems to resemble a landing craft. It is thus possible that this ship was a landing craft used for practising beach landings late in World War II.
