Full Description
A cluster of features, possibly very small structures, c 4m across, are visible on aerial photographs from July 1941 (S1) close to Boundary Lane. They do not appear on photographs from the previous month, and only (possibly) the central feature is visible on a photograph from November 1941 (S2). The arrangement of the features - 4 structures arcing around a central one - is reminiscent of an anti-aircraft battery, and it may be that this was a proposed site, where work was begun and subsequently abandoned. There may be other possibilities, but it is impossible to be sure of the nature of the site given the scale and quality of the available photographs.
